World of hats! And fic update.

Heehee! Hubby and I got some good deals on clearance hats. Spouse now has four new fedoras and I got a new brown fedora and a cute cloche.

I have about 600 words towards "christening the flat" fic, but I think muse might have got a wee bit crushed.  Eeep.  I am trucking away on chapter 37 of 'Forever'.  Writing out a scene that came to me like a movie... those always work well, I think.  Struggling with some plotty things, but I've got a 5 mile run on the agenda today, so I'll sort it out then.

*edit* Oh, OH! And guess what?!  1,020 reviews on 'Forever'!!!!  Wow!  Last chapter not as many as usual, but it was a bit of a transatory chapter.  This one is very action-y so I have high hopes.

Very concerned with the direction Primeval is going as far as Conby storyline. I, of couse love Andrew so as long as he was on I'll watch, but I may be wincing as I do so. I think he really didn't have time to get a reaction from Burton's bomb that he dropped. He seemed shocked, but he thought he'd be able to talk him out of it. As far as his getting emotional comment... meep. I think the wrong words came out/he's supressing. Worried.

Gah, he really got me when Abby brushes him off at the end, there. After all, he covered for her and here she is cosying up to Jess when Jess sold her out. Grr. Watch his face. Go on. Awww.

Completely with you on the Primeval stuff, they are as bad as each other really. Seems they got so used to it just being each other, that now they have other people to keep happy etc neither really knows how to handle it. They're starting over in a completely new environment. Meep. I have faith in Andrew and Hannah, but at the same time they are at the mercy of the writers. Part of me wonders if the reasons Andrew and Hannah are both now sounding like they are looking for something else is to do with the direction the writers have taken their characters?

Maybe it won't be as bad as we think? There were a lot convinced Becker was going to die in last night's show and he barely got a scratch. Thought he was bit of a wuss personally LOL (joking, yes it was deadly venom I suppose) So maybe our shipper hearts are just being a bit over sensitive. I can take angst and arguing, as long as they stay together and rememeber why they love each other.

My muse is struggling too. Can't do Abby/Connor at all at the moment... both fics I've done in the last 24 hours start off with the intention of being "fix its" but both ended up with Abby having fun with someone else (there's an Abby/Danny and an Abby/Lester, neither of which I think you'll read ;) )

Gah!!!! I just posted a long reply and my stupid laptop refreshed. AHHHHHHHHH!

Ok, um... yes, they'd better fix my Conby. If they end up together in the end, I'll be fine, and then I can go re-watch the series and be happier with it. I DO think we're probably getting overly sensitive. As I said to Tay, Andrew mentioned in an interview that Connor had "a lot of love" for Abby, and that Connor "didn't have a bad bone in his body" he *does* still think the best of people. I hope he stays true to character.

Poor things. They're having a hell of a time re-integrating. At least I have Alice fic to write, even if Abby/Connor don't cooperate.

Naughty Abby... she sure gets around. *grin*
