Fanfic Updates and stuff

 Has been awfully quiet as of late.  Me?  I'm happily ficcing away on chapter 2 of 'We Need a Holiday' while I try to study for my test on the 1st.  Eeep.  I hadn't planned for this to be quite so long, but what can ya do?  1.2K into this chapter so far.  Good thing is I have taken this week off to study.  Now I just have to study.

Hmm. Oh, and I interviewed for a special duty assignment.  It's a new job with a hell of a lot more responsibility and I think I may just be crazy. Good news is that I've got it.  Just have some paperwork to take care of.  Hmmm.  Oh, and I went brunette. *grins*  

So, I'll try really hard to get this chapter close to finished tonight.  Looks like this fic will be at least three parts.  Man, I'm going to have to get on my next 'Forever' chapter soon.  So much writing to do, so little time.  

I think I need to go stare at pics of Andrew to keep up my motivation.  Yeah?

By the by, if you're curious. I was trolling for Hannah pics for an icon I want to do and came across a French blog for SClub7 and they have adorable pictures of Baby!Hannah - so now in my head Baby!Hannah is totally Abby and Connor's little girl. I'm hopeless.

New assignment, but no raise, LOL! Well, I guess technically the 150.00 a month in special duty pay is a raise, but I'm expected to attend functions that cost me out of pocket on a regular basis.

This is my job description:

"In the United States Air Force, First Sergeant is not a rank, but a special duty held by the senior enlisted advisor of a military unit who reports directly to the unit commander. This billet is held by individuals of pay grades E-7 through E-9 (Master Sergeant, Senior Master Sergeant and Chief Master Sergeant), and is denoted on the rank insignia by a lozenge (known colloquially as a "diamond"). Often referred to as the "first shirt", or "shirt", the first sergeant is responsible for the morale, welfare, and conduct of all the enlisted members in a squadron and is the chief adviser to the squadron commander concerning the enlisted force. Most units have a master sergeant in this position, while larger units use senior master sergeants and chief master sergeants as first sergeants."

It was been very quiet for a few days now, I did wonder if it was down to it being holiday season where you guys are? It seems there's only me, you, tay and evenstar on connorandabby at the moment, with reni dipping in occasionally. I did spot a couple of good connor/abby fics on denial and have tried to persuade them to come over to the darkside and post...

If you need Andrew to motivate you, I posted a "Connor" pic!spam on primeval_canon last night... I even gave in and included the red trousers of doom!
