Soooo. My mom actually came to pick up Magnus for the weekend, so that's a good thing. We finally got to go see Harry Potter and it was reaaaallllyyyy good. I get my phoenix tattoo (part 1) tomorrow, and I sure hope it's good.

Finishing up my current chapter on Novel (codename:AoD) and then I'll be back on "The Hatters Take Las Vegas."  I'm thrilled with the response on chapter one! Squeee! I guess everyone missed reading them as much as I missed writing them. :)

Now if I can just sell my house.

Oh, And Clicky for a funny (Beware of Writer)

That's so great that your mom is finally making an effort with Magnus. I freaking loved Harry Potter. I even wore my Gryffindor scarf and tie. :-P

What does AoD stand for? Or are you not releasing that yet? YAY!!!! for more Hatters Take Las Vegas. I can't wait to read the next bit. It's so fabulous. I didn't even realize how much I missed reading them until I was getting to the end of your chapter and was like, no I want more. LOL!

Still praying that you'll get some bites on the house very soon.

HILARIOUS. I loved it. We are so totally evil people. LOL!!!!!!!

Awwwwwww, thanks. :) I might get to start in on "Hatters" tonight.

AoD= Art of Dying. In my mind it's a series, and this novel would be called Psychopomp in that series. I'm thinking that I'll work it in Acts (I,II, and III,) and send it to my mini beta crew that way. :) I'm toying with the idea of doing something like Evenstar_estel and making a LJ to post the chapters to so that way there would be an archive to look back if you needed to. I could F-Lock all the entries so it wouldn't get out to anyone else, or would it be better just to send it as 1 big document? *shrugs*

The link was sooo funny. I about died reading it.

Just post soon! LOL!!!!!

Oh, cool. I was wandering. I'm not sure what you should do. Just make sure it can't be leaked early. It's your work. Protect it. We'll all support you no matter what you decide. :-)

It was hilarious.

And hey, I forgot to mention, awesome idea for a tattoo. My brother has a phoenix. Can't wait to see what your's looks like.

How far into the novel are you? I think a private LJ might work... but LJ's also hackable more so than our email accounts. We want you to protect your original story!

I'm so excited for your tattoo. I'm craving one like mad!

Good luck on the house :)

I'm about 5,000 words in, but I've done a lot of background, plotting and research. I have a very good idea of what I'm writing through Act I and II, and partly through Act III, now it's just the nitty gritty. I'm thinking Act I will be 4-5 chapters. I have 3 written, but I'm fleshing them out a bit.

Um, you have a point on the hackable thing. Maybe just e-mail.

I'll post pics with the tattoo! Excited (and nervous)

Aww, so glad your mom is spending time with Magnus at last. I hope he's being spoilt rotten and having a blast. I am yet to see Harry Potter (yes, I know, shock horror!) Thing is, I'm not a fan of sitting in the dark for extended periods, my body thinks it should be sleeping and um.. yes, I fell asleep when I went to see "Return of the King" with my brother. So, I'll be waiting for the DVD to watch in the comfort of my own home. ITV is actually showing the entire series of Harry Potter (Prisoner of Azkaban on this evening) and I think they're building up to showing the last one over the holiday weekend at the end of August.

I agree with E over the hacking thing. It's only going to take one idiot to see it and repost it somewhere else and you're buggered. I am so looking forward to reading it.

That article you posted is so funny, and I found myself nodding in agreement at so much of it. Its true - we have to have doom and gloom and "worst case scenario". Take our lovely Connor and Abby - we spent over a year writing fics to get them together, then when they're going through angst on screen we're yelling "fix it, fix it!"... and now they have the happy ending, I'm ripping them apart!
